If I am reading those crates right, Jean is surrounded by food. If I've followed things correctly so far, just by surviving Jean is set for well past her warranty, and just may have saved the colony by giving it the influx of capitol needed.
Buttercup and company may no longer have to worry about their heating bill.
but I'm willing to bet that there are other concerns in the immediate future for our heros...
The one funny thing in this will be that when buttercup get there and sees all the food she be like, "well I guess we did not need to pack so much food".
One thing I've noticed is that the Crates seem to be base blocks for the ships food replicators. In this form they are Like the High Density not so ready to Eat Meals. Not the best right out of the Wrapper, but probably still better than what the Colonists have been eating.
