Yep, it was a bit late. But it looks good now. :)

There is no web-comic school, so they don't tell you anything in web-comic school, but one thing they don't tell you in web-comic school is that a wide variety of emotions expressed really helps round out your characters.
Even if it was a little late, I'm glad I learned, because I think this page is hilarious and works really well. Your thoughts will vary.
Your observation about The Clowning Guild (Which I'm not yet sure is real or not at this point) reminds me of Discworld's Guild of Jesters.
The joke in that one being that the guild was so serious and brutal that even the Assasin's Guild had children at play, but no... The only sound to be heard in the Guild of Jesters was the soft weeping broken young boys...
That kind of idea may be a bit too dark for this story.
Sorry about that, The Clowning Guild was from an old "Teenagers From Outer Space" Campaign it was supposed to be a High School Club with the purpose of running Oversight On Pranks and Other Shenanigans.
One of the Few requirements was that you had to maintain membership in one of the other School Clubs. Another was to provide a Unique Segment to the Clubs Quarterly "Rube" Machine.
I'm wondering if the ship has a Shuttle with passenger accommodations, and if it's intact. If it's equipped right, then Trips to and from crashed starship become a lot quicker, and would solve Jean's housing problem at least until something proper is built.
The Clowning Guild is very Serious about what they do, and can be very professional when the need arises.
...
Just keep them away from the Fire brigade. It's not intentional, but things, including buildings tend to go up in smoke.

No worries!
A lot of references pass me by. That's probably true for everyone but the most avid consumers of fiction.

Well heck, that's an excellent point.
Now I have to figure out why it wouldn't work.
...
"Some Assembly Required."
It got broken during the Crash?
We have an intact launch bay, but the shuttle hasn't been delivered yet?
Telling you much more would be spoilers, but feel free to speculate! :]
Mia's not professional, but I love her all the better for it! XD XD XD
NOBODY here is.
At least, not as professional as they should be. XD
