I remember particularly that I learned some new techniques for faces with this one.

You'll see that affect my drawings from here on out in a good way. :)

SDG, everyone.

IDK how hard that would be to design shoes...maybe on this planet it would be hopeless thanks to almost nobody living there but on some it would be easy.

Of course with 3D printing technology in real life the way it is and considering the amount of tech they would have to have to be a real space-faring society I'm sure they have equivalent or better manufacturing that would make it easy...

It's not every day one steps on hot coals-
In some locales, good, sturdy paws are all you really need to keep safe! Pavement, dirt, gravel, sand, etc aren't going to hurt a solid set of paws as bad as a human's feet.

I'm sure there are shoes sold for paws out there, but they're not a big market.

I knew a human who walked barefoot everywhere. I can't remember exactly what she said, but I think it was just something about slowly increasing her tolerance. The skin of the soles just gets thicker until it's as thick as it needs to be for comfort. I can sort-of partly verify that as I'm always barefoot around my home and don't have the softest carpets. At one point, I could step out onto the bare concrete outside, I just had to be careful. I haven't tried for years as I don't think the neighbors in my new place would appreciate my bare feet on our shared stairs. :)
